In her role as Client Service Advisor, Nina manages the client relationship and experience for their assigned clients. She plays an integral role in leading the Financial Planning Coordinators and helps to develop their understanding and knowledge of The DeRose FPG Planning Process and complex planning techniques. Nina is responsible for building strong relationships with the clients by providing superior service, delegating when necessary to manage tasks, ensuring accurate data and information, and supporting Lead Advisors.
Nina was raised in a small town in southern Illinois where she learned to value integrity, hard work and relationships. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University’s Lumpkin School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in finance as well as minors in pre-law and entrepreneurship. Her prior professional experience includes interning at Stifel Financial in St. Louis, MO as well as Boyer and Sappenfield Investment Advisors in Arcola, IL. Nina’s career in financial planning began by completing the courses required to sit for the CFP® exam*. She holds her Illinois Life & Health licenses, along with her Series 7 & 66 licenses.
Nina lives in River West in Chicago with her fiancé and their adorable yellow lab, Zion. Her hobbies include reading, watching movies - her favorites are psychological thrillers and comedies - creative writing, listening to music from every decade and genre, practicing yoga, playing sand volleyball, playing soccer and skiing. Nina is a huge foodie and, if possible, her plate would always be filled with pasta and seafood.
