Our Outreach

We are honored to support and have donated to The Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation in Sarasota, Florida. 

Cal Ripken Sr. was a dedicated American baseball player, who spent almost 40 years with the Baltimore Orioles as a player, coach, scout and manager. His family started this foundation with the mission to keep Cal's legacy alive - helping to prepare at-risk youth for life's challenges by teaching them invaluable skills such as teamwork, communication, work ethic & respect.

Our firm helped sponsor an event for the Wine, Women & Shoes charity, benefitting A Safe Place. A Safe Place is an organization located in Zion, Illinois dedicated to supporting victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. 

As part of our involvement in the event, DeRose FPG donated a Comprehensive Wealth Plan to help someone take one step closer to making their financial dreams and objectives a reality. 

Over the years, our team has volunteered at The Ronald McDonald House in Chicago numerous times! We always have a great time preparing a meal for RMH families who are in need of a home-cooked meal and some extra cheer during the holiday season. 

The Tunnels to Towers Foundation is a charity that Karen and her husband Tony hold dear to their hearts. The non-profit was formed in honor of Stephen Siller, a FDNY Firefighter who laid down his life to save others on September 11th, 2001. Tunnels to Towers has raised over $1 billion in support for 9/11 First Responders and their families – by way of donations and providing mortgage-free homes.

DeRose FPG is privileged to have been able to donate to this incredible cause.  

One of Karen's favorite ways to give back to her community is through Holy Cross Church, and Catholic Charities. Every year during the holidays, Holy Cross puts together Christmas baskets for local families in need. These baskets are assembled and delivered to hundreds of families in the Deerfield, Illinois area.
